We’re thrilled to welcome Carter Downen back to Springfield FC for the upcoming season!

Carter was a key contributor during our UPSL campaign, consistently bringing speed, tenacity, and dependability every time he took the pitch. A 2022 State Finalist with Chatham Glenwood and former standout with Central Illinois United (2020–2022), Carter has built a reputation as a driven and reliable competitor.

I’ve known Carter for over a decade, and it’s been great to watch his growth as both a player and a person. His tireless work rate and ability to cover ground make him a valuable and versatile piece for our group. I’m really glad to have him back with us.

Welcome back, Carter — we’re glad to have you in the lineup!
